At the core of Ciné Foundry is the producing and management team, with credits that include Oscar awarding winning feature films such as “Titanic”, and “Minority Report”, “Leatherheads”, “April Fool’s Day”, “Red Dirt Rising”, “Dance for Bethany” and “Country Remedy” and corporate clients such as Reader’s Digest, ASCAP, Harley Davidson, Simon and Schuster, the PGA, and Time, Inc.
An independent film goes through much the same process from development and pre-production through production and post-production as a studio film. Our plan starts with the “script”. We diligently research and develop our concept to create an intelligent movie. We craft high quality, character-driven concept that fits the production budget we have in place. Most of our models call for a script that has three to five main characters, takes place in the present, has a minimum number of locations, and can be shot in places where the producers have the resources (crew, talent and connections) and where there are significant tax incentives and rebates for film production.
In addition, Ciné Foundry has relationships with key consultants and advisers who are available to fill important roles on an as-needed basis. The producers will continue to build these resources through their affiliation with other production companies and organizations.
